CANCELED: Terps Under 30

Join the University of Maryland Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Leadership Council for the 3rd annual Terps Under 30!

This annual event was first implemented in 2018 as an on-campus TED-talk style program that aims to provide students and alumni the opportunity to connect, network, and share their fearless ideas. The formal program will include short TED-style talks featuring three recent UMD graduates who personify one or more of the four pillars of Fearless Ideas: The Campaign for Maryland - boldness, curiosity, passion, and inspiration.

The panel will be moderated by Edom Mesfein '20, a senior Communications major, and our speakers include:

Atara Bernstein '13 - Cofounder and COO, pineapple collaborative

Jared Brown M.P.S. '19 - Associate, MBK Alliance, Obama Foundation

Evan Lutz '14 - Founder & CEO, Hungry Harvest
 

Program:
6:30-7:15 p.m. - Networking cocktail hour with heavy h'ors d'oeuvres and an open bar
7:15-8:15 p.m. - TED-talk style program
8:15-8:30 p.m. - Dessert reception

Cost: 

  • Alumni Association members: $5
  • Non-members: $10
  • Students: Free
