Kelly, Jacinta

Jacinta Kelly is the Assistant Dean for Administration and Finance for the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. In this role, she is responsible for the fiscal and administrative activities of the college, including oversight of budget development and monitoring, payroll, purchasing, contracts and grants administration, and compliance.

Jacinta is an accomplished finance and administrative professional with extensive experience in higher education and nonprofits. She previously spent nearly a decade at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where she was the Assistant Dean for Financial Management in the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (CNMS). At UMBC, she implemented several college level business process improvements and led a college-wide team to establish CNMS Business Central, a shared services center aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiency in the areas of payroll and hiring, purchasing, pre- and post-award research administration, financial management, and research support. 

Additionally, Jacinta worked at the National Academies of Sciences/National Research Council, The George Washington University, and the National Labor College.
