Slavin, Christa

Christa is a twice University of Maryland alumna, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminology and Criminal Justice and her Master’s Degree in Higher Education. She has worked at the University of Maryland for the past 19 years; as a student assistant in the Office of the Registrar and Enrollment Services and as a Coordinator of Administrative Services and Student Success in the Feller Center for the past 14 years.

In the Feller Center, Christa reviews student records and advises them regarding their current registration, their graduation planning, and their remaining graduation requirements. Christa has researched and is passionate about first generation college student success.  As a First generation college student herself, she strives to provide the assistance to ensure first generation college students receive the support needed to succeed.
