The Economics Undergraduate Studies Program Fund, which provides general support to enhance the department's undergraduate program, which may include support of program activities, operating expenses, conference, travel & research related expenses. Give to the Economics Undergraduate Studies Program Fund

The Melanie E. (Lee) Easley Memorial Scholarship Fund, which supports an annual scholarship for students majoring in economics. Give to the Melanie E. (Lee) Easley Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Honorable Idamae Garrott Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides an annual scholarship for an economics student and is renewable for up to four years. Give to the Honorable Idamae Garrott Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Moskowitz Family Scholarship Award in Economics Fund, which provides financial aid to an outstanding student majoring in or planning to major in economics. Give to the Moskowitz Family Scholarship Award in Economics Fund.

The Martin Moskowitz Award Fund, which provides an annual award for a student majoring in economics who shows a demonstrated interest in public service. Give to the Martin Moskowitz Award Fund.

The Peggy Rae and John Sapienza Scholarship Fund, which provides a scholarship to a deserving junior or senior economics undergraduate student within the Department of Economics. Give to the Peggy Rae and John Sapienza Scholarship Fund.

The Promoting Achievement and Diversity in Economics (PADE) Fund supports programming initiatives, which is designed to increase diversity in economics by supporting traditionally under-represented students who major in economics, particularly those exploring the BS degree, and those who are considering graduate study in economics or a related field. Graduate Student Giving Opportunities

The Economics Graduate Studies Program Fund, which provides general support to enhance the department's graduate program, which may include support of fellowships, scholarships, program activities, conference, travel & research related expenses. Give to the Economics Graduate Studies Program Fund.

The Roger and Alicia Betancourt Fellowship in Applied Economics Fund, which provides annual support for a doctoral fellowship in applied economics. Give to the Roger and Alicia Betancourt Fellowship in Applied Economics Fund.

The Allan G. Gruchy Fellowship Fund, which was established to provide graduate fellowships in Economics to students who have interests in history, history of thought, comparative systems and economic development. Give to the Allan G. Gruchy Fellowship Fund.

The Hilda Moskowitz Graduate Fellowship in Economics Fund, which supports a fellowship for an outstanding graduate student who will in most instances work with the Neil Moskowitz Professor during the course of his or her studies. Give to the Hilda Moskowitz Graduate Fellowship in Economics Fund.

The K.P. and Jayalakshmi Muddappa Graduate Award for Economics Fund, which provides an annual award to a graduate student in the department who has expressed an interest in pursuing post-graduation career opportunities in India. Give to the K.P. and Jayalakshmi Muddappa Graduate Award for Economics Fund.

The Dr. Melville J. Ulmer Scholarship Fund, an annual award presented to graduate students enrolled in the Department of Economics based on academic excellence and demonstrated financial need. Give to the Dr. Melville J. Ulmer Scholarship Fund.

 

Faculty Support

Operational Support

The Economics Leadership Council (ELC) is the primary alumni service organization of the Department of Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park. The ELC seeks to promote the Department’s student, alumni and faculty experience through advice, outreach, events and financial support. Give to the Economics Leadership Council Fund.
