Giving Day 2026

Every year in early March, the University of Maryland community comes together for a 24-hour fundraising event. Students, alums, faculty, staff, parents, families and friends join in on the largest day of giving because when thousands of Terps come together, the possibilities are endless.

Our goal is simple: Give it Forward. With your help, we can raise critical funding that supports all aspects of UMD.

This year, gifts to the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences’ priority fund, the BSOS Dean’s Fund, will help support BSOS students, faculty, and staff who have faced unforeseen hurdles this year.

There are a few funds that have $2,500 matches you can help us unlock too, including:

• The Anthropology Student Experience Fund
• The Department of Geographical Sciences' Young Researchers Fund
