Gregory Gause, Professor Emeritus of International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University and Associate Fellow at the Middle East Institute. His latest article in Foreign Affairs is “The New Old Middle East: Wars of Sound and Fury.”
Marc Lynch, Professor of Political Science and International Affairs and Director of the Project on Middle East Political Science (POMEPS) at George Washington University. His latest book is America's Middle East: The Ruination of a Region.
Elizabeth Saunders, Professor of Political Science at Columbia University and non-resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. Her most recent book is The Insiders' Game: How Elites Make War and Peace.
Shibley Telhami, Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development and Director of the Critical Issues Poll at the University of Maryland. He is also a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. His forthcoming co-authored book is The Decline and Fall of US Diplomacy on Israel/Palestine, 2009-2025.
