McGloin, Jean

Jean McGloin is a Professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Maryland, and also serves as Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. 

She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, where her dissertation focused on street gangs in Newark, New Jersey. She earned an A.B., summa cum laude, from Bryn Mawr College. Dr. McGloins research interests include peer influence, co-offending, and collective behavior.
