ANTH Associate Professor Christina Getrich Co-Authors Op-ed in The Hill

Christina Getrich, an associate professor in the University of Maryland Department of Anthropology, recently wrote an op-ed for The Hill titled, "It's Time for Congress to Act on DACA." In it, she and her co-authors—Kristin Yarris, an Associate Professor of Global Studies at the University of Oregon; Mariela Nuñez-Janes, a Professor of Anthropology at the University of North Texas; and Sarah Horton is a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Colorado, Denver—encourage Congress "to make the protections of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program permanent."
