BSOS Faculty Members Honored
Two faculty members from the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS) were specially recognized for their outstanding service to the University and to their students.

Prucha of the Department of Economics has been named a Distinguished University Professor. Professor Prucha's research interests are in theoretical and applied econometrics, with a focus on theoretical econometrics. His applied work focuses on the determinants of dynamic factor demand, productivity and the econometric modeling and estimation of depreciation rates.

She serves as director of the Maryland Child and Family Development Laboratory. Professor Cassidy’s research focuses on attachment, social and emotional development in children and adolescents, social information-processing, peer relations, early intervention, and longitudinal prediction of adolescent risk behavior from earlier family interactions.
