BSOS Giving Day 2023 Success, By the Numbers

On Wednesday, March 8, 448 alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and friends helped the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences raise $164,563 during the University of Maryland’s annual Giving Day!

More than $22,000 of these donations were added to the BSOS Student Experience Fund supporting undergraduate students' experiential learning opportunities, and 25 other college/departmental initiatives—including the Neurodiversity Support Fund, the SUCCEEDS ADHD Clinic Fund, and the Geographical Sciences Fund—each raised over $3,500.

As the below infographic shows, 51 first-time donors also gave a total of more than $4,000.
