BSOS Raised $1,159,550 on Giving Day 2026!

On Wednesday, March 4, 2026, the University of Maryland’s annual Giving Day, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences raised $1,159,550 from 425 donors!

Sixty-two first-time donors—a 58% increase over 2025—gave a total of $10,375.

Of those that made a gift to BSOS on Giving Day, 185 were alumni, 169 were faculty/staff, 40 were parents/family members, 18 were friends, and 13 were students.

BSOS also won a total of $1,750 in prizes: $1,500 from winning the faculty/staff hourly challenge, and $250 from winning a Tiny Terps photo challenge.
