BSOS Recognizes Outstanding Faculty and Staff
On April 11, the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences paid tribute to outstanding faculty and staff at its annual appreciation and awards event.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Dean’s Medal to Valencia Skeeter, a staff member who has served in the Department of African American Studies for 25 years. Ms. Skeeter was recognized for her dedication to students, alumni, faculty and fellow staff members; for her institutional knowledge and career expertise; and for her generous and kind spirit. She is the first staff member to ever receive the Dean’s Medal, the College’s highest honor.
