ECON Professor Melissa Kearney Co-Authors Op-ed in The Hill

Melissa Kearney, Neil Moskowitz Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland, recently wrote an op-ed for The Hill titled, "How to fight poverty and boost work with an enhanced Child Tax Credit." In it, Kearney and her co-author Wendy Edelberg, director of The Hamilton Project and a senior fellow in Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution, call on Congress to consider adopting the modified Child Tax Credit plan they shared via a new policy proposal.
