Sadat Arts for Peace Competition Focuses on Democracy, Civic Responsibility

The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences joined with the College of Arts and Humanities, the Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development and Arts for All to present the Sadat Arts for Justice and Peace Program. This year's winners and participants were celebrated at a special event at The Clarice on April 20.

During the event, multimedia works were displayed and presented, focusing on this year's competition theme, which drew from the words of former President Jimmy Carter: “In our democracy, the only title higher and more powerful than that of president is the title of citizen.”
