Social STEM Brochure Highlights Innovative Research

The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is pleased to share its new Social STEM brochure, which highlights exciting research and activity from every department within our College that utilize scientific methods, cutting-edge technology, engineering advancements and computational methods.

BSOS faculty and students explore a vast range of unique topics—from climate change to economic crises and the impact of poverty to transitions in populations and governments. And each member of the BSOS community makes a commitment to Be the Solution to the world’s great challenges. Thus, BSOS stands at the vanguard of interdisciplinary innovation in teaching and research. While it is not home to more traditional programs of research and study in STEM education, such as engineering or the “hard” sciences, BSOS has long utilized STEM methods to enhance research and classroom experiences in all of its diverse disciplines. These efforts are complemented and accelerated by cutting-edge technology.
