Summer Research Initiative 25th Anniversary Celebration

Since the founding of the Summer Research Initiative (SRI) in 1999, a diverse group of scholars travels to College Park annually to partner with respected faculty members and mentors from BSOS and other units across campus to gain laboratory experience, knowledge and skills in an effort to prepare participants for doctoral-level study in their academic fields.

We hope you will join us on July 27 from 4-7 p.m. at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland for this landmark event to recognize the SRI’s founding and current leadership, as well as our current cohort and program alumni.
