Thank You for Scholarship Day Success!

BSOS students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends came together to support the College's scholarship recipients on Dec. 11 Scholarship Day, UMD's first-ever, 24-hour giving challenge. Together, they raised more than $16,000, and their generosity sent a strong message of encouragement to students and dedication to their alma mater. BSOS also won matching funds for their strong showing; $1,500 for earning second place in the category of dollars raised for a scholarship fund, and $1,000 in an hourly challenge for the most donors from Virginia and New York at 7 p.m.
