About Ted Gurr

A pioneer in the field of political conflict and instability, Ted Robert Gurr passed away in 2017. As a Professor Emeritus and Distinguished University of Maryland Department of Government and Politics, Dr. Gurr was internationally-recognized for his theoretical, comparative, and historical studies of societal conflict.
