Join the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and the University of Maryland Alumni Association for an evening at the Philip Merrill Environmental Center, located along the banks of the Chesapeake Bay. Meet fellow Terps in the Anne Arundel region and hear about what the university is doing to support the Bay and its 11,000+ miles of shoreline!

Special Guest Speakers: 

  • Dr. Michael Paolisso, Professor and Associate Chair, Department of Anthropology 
  • Dr. Craig Beyrouty, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources

There will also be representatives from the oyster farming community, student entrepreneurship, and University of Maryland Extension on site to discuss their work on the Bay.

Heavy hors d'oeuvres and alcoholic beverages are included with registration.
