VIRTUAL: Class of 2020: Got your first paycheck- now what?
Join Adebimpe Dada '00 (ECON) as she shares what YOU need to know about breaking that paycheck to paycheck cycle. Now that you may have your first post-grad paycheck, let's figure out how you can make the most of that money! In this interactive virtual workshop, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop a plan to get out of debt and stay out
- Learn the importance of tracking your spending
- Familiarize yourself with A/K/A budgeting and know where your money is going
- Make money without working – The beauty of compound interest
- Work with Bimpe to create your personalized budget tracker
About the Speaker
Bimpe graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Economics in 2000. As the VP, Centralized Credit Operations Manager with TD Bank, Bimpe owns accountability for leading the Regional Commercial Bank's Centralized Credit Operations team. The group is designed to become the Bank's Credit Management Center of Excellence for Centralized tasks including Streamlined Annual Reviews. In her free time, Bimpe enjoys spending time with friends & family, traveling, reading, and volunteering in the community.
