The Time for Life Award Endowment Fund, which provides support for the study of the use of time and to support the creation and maintenance of time use archives at the University. Give to the Time for Life Award Fund.

The Charles H. Coates Commemorative Fund, which recognizes the contributions of UMD graduates and faculty to the field of military sociology and also recognizes graduate students in the field of military sociology to assist in the publication and/or dissemination of the results of their research. The William Form Graduate Student Award, which provides annual travel awards for students in the department. Give to the William Form Graduate Student Award.

The Milton Dean Havron Social Sciences Award Fund, which provides an annual award to an outstanding graduate student in psychology or sociology to assist in the timely completion of his or her doctorate degree. Give to the Milton Dean Havron Social Sciences Award Fund.

The Dr. Ramon Henkel Quantitative Research Fellowship Fund, which provides annual support for a graduate student in the department who is using quantitative methods in his or her research. Give to the Dr. Ramon Henkel Quantitative Research Fellowship Fund.

The John Pease Scholarship Fund, which provides need-based funding for tuition for students in the department as selected by the awards committee. Give to the John Pease Scholarship Fund.

The Harriet B. Presser Endowed Fellowship Fund, which provides annual support for a graduate student in the department who specializes in the field of population and gender issues, has successfully completed the comprehensive exam and is in the dissertation phase. The Tara Lynn Resnick Scholarship Fund, which provides an annual scholarship for a female junior sociology major. Give to the Tara Lynn Resnick Scholarship Fund.

The Morris Rosenberg Memorial Fund, which heightens the recognition of the department and of sociological scholarship in BSOS in memory of Dr. Morris Rosenberg. The department utilizes the fund to support a variety of activities including but not limited to lectures, visiting professorships, special research projects and conference attendance for faculty and outstanding students. The Lab for Applied Social Science Research Fundsupports the programmatic and research initiatives of LASSR.
