2014 SRI Scholars Unveil Groundbreaking Research Projects
On July 25, 19 undergraduate scholars from around the country unveiled their unique research projects to cap off the 2014 Summer Research Initiative (SRI). University and College leadership, mentors, faculty and staff gathered with family and friends in the Stamp Student Union to show support for the scholars.
The nationally recognized research initiative lasted eight weeks, during which the scholars worked closely with faculty mentors, including chairs of BSOS departments. Participants were recognized for their outstanding work and dedication to research in the field of behavioral and social sciences.

SRI was established in 1999 by the Office of the Dean in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences and is supported by the Office of the Provost, the Graduate School, the Office of the Vice President for Research and the College. The program is designed to encourage and enhance the diversity of scholars working in the social and behavioral science fields.
