Giving Day is March 9!

Join the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences on Wednesday, March 9 for the University of Maryland's Giving Day—an annual 24-hour fundraising event for Terps, from Terps.

We are proud and very grateful to say that last year 437 donors helped BSOS raise more than $96,000. This year, we're hoping to raise the bar, plus support a few different initiatives; and for that, we need your help. 

There are a few ways for you to do so: 

1) Make a gift to support BSOS funds by visiting go.umd.edu/gdbsos22 at any point on March 9.

2) Help us win challenges. BSOS will compete with other units on campus for a share of prize money during hourly Giving Day challenges. If possible, consider timing your gift to help us bring home extra funds!

• 9-10 a.m.: Most Alumni Donors ($2,500)
• 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Most Faculty/Staff ($2,000)
• 2-3 p.m.: Most Donors ($1,500)
• 7-8 p.m.: Most Alumni Donors ($2,500)
• 8-9 p.m.: Most Parent Donors ($1,000)

3) Spread the word! Please tell your friends, family members, and professional networks about Giving Day by sharing content from the BSOS website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages, or by posting messages and graphics like these to your own platforms.
