UMD BSOS Research Showcase on Inequality

The University of Maryland's College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS) held a Research Showcase on Inequality on Thursday, May 2, 2024, drawing over 400 attendees from academia, government, and nonprofit organizations.

Alongside a total of 49 other projects, PROGRESS presented a poster under the theme of Health and Well-Being.

 

Rhe entire PROGRESS team was on hand to represent the initiative, including Co-Directors Woodie Kessel and Jo Richardson (see the photos below). Collectively, the PROGRESS team had the opportunity to engage in discussions with fellow researchers, share details about the mission of PROGRESS, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

University of Maryland leadership participated in the symposium, including President Darryll J. Pines, Senior Vice President and Provost Jennifer King Rice, Vice President for Research Gregory Ball, and BSOS Dean Susan Rivera.
