PROGRESS Co-Sponsors Community Wellness Event

Community violence interventionist Teivon Johnson held a free wellness event co-sponsored by PROGRESS and local community-based organizations. This event, which supported community violence intervention (CVI) and hospital violence intervention programs (HVIP) workers in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, provided mutual support through workouts, networking, nutrition, health, and fun activities. Uplifting CVI and HVIP workers through wellness events builds community support and is critical to maintaining these important violence intervention programs.
