On November 10, 2025, UMD’s Violence Reduction Center (VRC) held a Social Media Symposium co-sponsored by PROGRESS and Everytown for Gun Safety that featured panels on youth perspectives, law enforcement, community-based organizations (this panel was chaired by PROGRESS Co-Director Jo Richardson), and research.
